ARROGANT WORMS KICK ASS

Wow that took a long time to upload, and yes that is the best picture of them i have (they made me put away my camera after 5 pics :p)

Anyway, I had an awesome end of week/weekend. Thursday night was set-up for the Eight Bit Evolution concert at the school. About 100 people showed up to watch, so with door fees and concession we made about $600. And i got to drive the truck with a flatdeck, so that was fun. except for the 3 times i almost got it stuck. 2 wheel drive with icy roads and a 8,000 pound anchor attached to the hitch is not a good combination. Thursday night me, Lynn & Sara were there until about 11:30 setting up, and then back again friday (no school) around 3pm to finish. Doors opened at 7:30, and everyone had a BLAST. Unfortunately, the gym had to be used the next day for something, so after the concert ended (about 10:30) we had to tear down the portable stage, take out all the decorations and stuff that were up in the gym, and haul it all back to the hall for storage. I didn't get home until at least 12:30.

Yesterday (saturday) started about 9:30, when Kristine phoned me to tell me they had an extra ticket to the Arrogant Worms concert in Banff. YAYAYA!!! They were HILARIOUS!! and i bought a book written by one of the 'worms' that is really funny. We didn't get back to calgary until after midnight, so instead of driving home i stayed at Kristine's house on the most uncomfortable hide-a-bed i've every seen. I don't think there was any padding (probably hasn't been any since Elvis was in the top 10) so i basically slept on wires. O well i was so tired by the time we got there i could have slept on a dirt floor and passed out right away.

Today i got up around 9:30, and decided that since i was still tired and probably smelled i would skip church and just head home. I got to Carbon around 11, and then promptly went to bed and snoozed until 2. After that i had some eggos, made bannana bread, and now here I am. Mom didn't think i'd be able to sleep at night if i slept all afternoon, and i think she's crazy because it's about 9:00 now and i'm already ready to hit the sheets. Anyway, Kristine should update her blog because i want something to read, and i'll talk to ya'll later!
