I SOLD MY CAR!!!

Yay!!! i finally found another naive 17-year-old that thinks he needs a camaro (remind you of anyone :D?), I got the asking price, and he's gonna come hand me the cheque tomorow. OK freaky coincidence #1 (of 1 but whatever) I signed the Bill of Sale when i got this car on Oct 26, 2005. He's coming tomorow, which means he's gonna sign His Bill of Sale on Oct 26, 2006. FREAKY. Anywhoo, i know i haven't updated this in quite a while, so here's the rundown. it turns out that the mould at the curling rink is NOT black, so we are going to be able to wash the walls with bleach and then fix it in the spring. Which is much better than curling in Acme.
Letsee...last sunday after church i went to Calary and me & Kristine hung out for the afternoon. We did a couple Geocaches, found one didn't find the other, then went to this cafe thing called 'The Weed.' It was awesome. I had a roast beef sandwitch about a foot square and 6 inches thick. and it only cost me $5. After that we rode the C-train downtown and went up the Calgary Tower. THAT GLASS FLOOR IS FRICKIN SCARY. But pushing kristine onto it made up for the scary part. That was Hilarious.
At school i've been working off what little ass i have :p, i did a 4 page essay on death of a Salesman and been working like a madman just to keep my head above water in chem. In english today we started our poetry unit, so I just asked her to go ahead and drop my mark 10% ahead of time to save us the trouble. We started off the class by delving into the deep symbolism of the classic poem "Humpty Dumpty." Apparently he was a king who sat on a wall because he was conflicted. there was also something about the horses and why they couldnt put him back together but i think i blacked out. I'm the kind of person who when i see something say "He sat on a chair," then i think 'he sat on a chair.' not that he is a russian overloard from the 17th century who was put in a dress when he was 7. I think that's what we're supposed to get out of it. i'm gonna fail.
And tonight!! One of the most exciting nights for quite a while.
The starter in the truck crapped out, and it was parked in front of the trailer on gravel. So me being the genius that i am borrowed Tony's pickup and his car dolly, thinking that it would be no problem to use that to push the truck into the garage. So we used the mini-hummer to tow it into place on the driveway (i think i had all 4 tires spinnig when i pulled it up the curb). That worked out fine, the next didn't. I'll try describe how this works; Our truck is pointed uphill on the driveway aimed at the empty spot in the garage. Tony's truck is sticking out onto the street, with the car dolly under the back wheels of our truck. so the trucks were facing opposite eachother, with the back wheels of our truck on the dolly. Got it? ok good. Anyway, dad got in tony's truck to back it up the driveway, and i got in our truck to steer it into the garage. Neither of us thought about that intertia thingy (things that aren't moving don't want to move) or that we might need to put the truck into park so that the back wheels don't move. Needless to say, the car dolly went towards the garage, the truck did not. it ended up with the car dolly between the front and back wheels of the truck, with the back end of the truck being supported by the Diff that was resting on the support bar on the trailer. For those looking at the picture, the back wheels on the truck should be right above the wheels on the trailer. To get the trailer back out we had to lift the truck up about 2 feet and put jack stands in the middle of the truck (good thing all the weights on the front of we would have had a teeter-totter). So after about 2 hours and a neighbors truck and help, we finally got it jacked up high enough that we could pull the dolly back under the tires. We got everything figured out, and double checked and tried again and dammed if it didn't just back in their just like i thought it would. Anyway. So there was my excitement for the last week, talk to ya'll later.
