busy week

well i ment to update this on wednesday, then thursday, then friday, then saturday. but i was busy. so there. and here it is.
thursday i went to standard to get stuff for our initiation of the grade 10's, i picked up a set of old mailboxes and then mooched supper off of grandma Carolyn (grandpa was on the 'shit spreader'). On friday we did the initiation; how it works is each of the grade 10's is accused of a 'crime,' found guilty, and then 'sentenced.' Lots of inside jokes in those accusations :). we had them sing, dress up as slutty chicks & do a run on the catwalk, shave a ballon that explodes when popped (more shaving cream) and other stuff. it ended up with the grade 12's challenging the 10's to tug-of-war on a huge piece of plastic covered with water and oil. it was awesome. That night i went to youth group with a couple of people from carbon, they had lots of fun, and they're the 'punks' of carbon so it was really funny.
on saturday i went to strathmore again to get danika from volleyball. Today my cousin Body got baptized in standard, and after that was dinner at their house (his parents).
I also just downloaded a book called 'The Boy Mechanic', it was published in the 30's by national mechanics and is aimed at 8ish year olds. on the first page it shows them how to make a 20-foot-wide glider that they can strap themselves to and then jump off a cliff. VERY COOl.
