driving in calgary

driving in calgary is confusing. and school dances are lame. especially with jr high kids.
on thursday, all but 4 kids in my class decided to go out for supper in drum. i was one of the 4 and was kinda pissed off about it since they were kindia being pricks about it (talking about it, ignoring us) so 3 of the 4 found out when their reservation was and went to the same resturant! it's called O'Shay's and the ribs make ones from BP's taste like mouldy hot dogs. SO GOOD!!!!! Anyway, we get there, get half way thru the meal and then realize that its a birthday party. which was still kinda mean that they invited almost everyone. So now we feel kinda stupid about it and i guess we'll have to explain it to them on monday....o well.

Anywhoo, i had to drive in to the winter club to pick up danika fro her game, since mom & dad had a casino to do for the curling club here in carbon. So after church (and an hour of waiting at canadian tire for a chair they didn't have) i headed in. I found kristine's house easy enough but on my way back i found out that due to construction on 16th ave (or the #1) you can't (or i couldn't figure out how to) turn left to go onto 14th street. so i had to go up 13th street and pull out the map to figure out where the hell I was. it was interesting. and is was in the barbie jeep which is completely gutless and that made it even more fun.
